Utah School of Phlebotomy Course Instructors
We feel that an open environment helps students to learn better, and want students to feel comfortable as we teach them the art of drawing blood. We care very deeply for each student and go the extra mile in making sure students grasp the concepts of drawing blood. In the 15 years we have taught students, we have found it to be very rewarding watching our students go from beginners to great phlebotomists and ready to start a new career.
Beth has been in the medical field for 24 years. Beth loves interacting with people while drawing blood for insurance companies, wellness checks, and doing drug screens and health assessments for top Olympic and professional athletes. Her knowledge and experience bring quality teaching to the Utah School of Phlebotomy. She has developed many "tricks of the trade" which her students benefit from and has a great passion for drawing blood.
Beth is a native to Oregon but has lived in Utah for the past 26 years where she enjoys outdoor activities including participating in triathalons and hiking with her family. Her latest adventures have taken her on a quest to hike the highest peak in every county in Utah, which she will accomplish this year with her husband. She considers being an owner and instructor at the Utah School of Phlebotomy one of her biggest pleasures.
The Utah School of Phlebotomy was founded in August 2000 and has taught thousands of students in that time. Our instructors have had over 35 years of experience in the field of phlebotomy and other fields of medicine. Their knowledge, skill and technique of phlebotomy will help students learn quickly, efficiently, and effectively. Not only do they comprehend phlebotomy, they help others to learn in a relaxing and positive environment. Our instructors will ensure that each student knows how to draw blood and be competent in doing so. Their dedication and love for this field is displayed in how they teach this course.
The Utah School of Phlebotomy has established many professional relationships with Hospitals and Doctors offices who now refer their employees to this school. We also have exclusive contracts throughout Utah to teach Law Enforcement officials that need phlebotomy training to obtain blood samples for lawful reasons. Our stability and reputation prove us to be credible and reliable in producing quality phlebotomists.
All Utah requirements and licensing have been met and the Utah School of Phlebotomy is registered under the Utah Postsecondary Proprietary School Act (Title 13, Chapter 34, Utah Code). Under these guidelines we are required to carry a Liability Insurance policy to protect our students.
